Penny Lane Coffeehouse is located in the Haynies Corner Arts District in downtown historic Evansville, IN and specializes in Organic Fair Trade and Specialty coffee and coffee drinks, Yogi Organic Herbal Healing Teas, great "made from scratch" organic vegan & Vegetarian soups & salads, smoothies, great food, art, music, and a lot of very kind people.

Penny Lane Coffeehouse was opened in 2000 by the original founder and owner Peggy Pirro with a vision of love, peace, and good coffee. In September of 2003 Paul and I took over ownership and have done our best to carry on that tradition.

One day while perusing through quotes online I found the quote that reminds me of what Penny Lane means to me. The quote, by a human rights and democracy activist from Nigeria, is simply stated -
